Privacy & suggestions

What we store, why we store it, and how to ask us to delete it.

What we collect

Cambo-Guide is independent and unsponsored. The only personal data we touch comes from the optional comment/editor feature:

  • Your email — only if you sign in to suggest an edit. We use it to send your sign-in link and to reply to your suggestions. No newsletter, no marketing, ever.
  • The text passage you commented on and the comment you wrote, so we can read it and reply.
  • Standard request logs (IP address, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. These live in server logs for a short window only.

We don't run third-party analytics or tracking scripts. There are no advertising cookies.

How we use it

Your email is used to email you a sign-in link, a confirmation when you submit a suggestion, and our reply when we review it. That's it.

Who sees it

Vandy Sodanheang (the maintainer) reads your suggestion. Beyond that, two infrastructure providers handle data on our behalf:

  • Resend delivers our outbound email. Your email address transits Resend to reach your inbox.
  • Cloudflare proxies the site for performance and DDoS protection. Standard request metadata transits Cloudflare.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete everything we have about you. We honour this without question and without delay.
